The trek is a lovely climb as we walk along the tree line & get closer to those enchanting snow capped mountain peaks. We pass some ancient temples, the highlight being a visit to the 5000 year old Gayatri temple.Lunch @ Banara Village is a celebration of the Pahadi way of life in a Himalayan Village home – a traditional Pahadi meal served in Pahadi tradition.Interact with the the locals & understand their way of life in harsh conditions where essentials are scarce & how they co exist with nature.Post lunch, begin our descent back to our hotel where a hot cup of chai/ coffee awaits you.In the evening, we visit the Mall Road in Manali to pick up last minute supplies, in case we have missed out anything.Over dinner, we have a briefing session for the trek beginning the next day – on what to pack & how to pack, things to carry etc.All set & relaxed, we retire for the day, all excited to begin our next trek.
