All about the 'TRAIL OF THE PANDAVAS'

Welcome to A JOURNEY BACK INTO TIME – ‘TRAIL OF THE PANDAVAS’

Circa 4000 BC -  the courtroom at Hastinapura, the Pandavas & Kauravas engaged in a game of chausat, manipulated by the wily Shakuni who has sworn to destroy Bharatvarsha…… the Pandavas lose the game (naturally) & are forced to give up their kingdom & go into exile for a period of 12 years.

They set off for the majestic Himalayas & among the many places that they stay in during the 12 years is SERI - a majestic plateau located high in the Himalayas with abundant water supply (it is fed by 2 glacial melts). It is said that the Pandavas stayed here for a long period of time before taking shelter in the kingdom of Raja Viraat (who was a king of a part of Himachal Pradesh).

The trail to Seri is an easy meandering one that takes us through lush rhododendron forests, gurgling streams & brooks & alpine landscape. During this trek, we will be privileged to see the beauty of nature – lush green landscapes to fresh glacial melts to centuries old forests before we come to view the snow clad peaks of Jagatsukh.

The trip is scheduled from 17th – 24th June 2017. Our campsite each night will be along a flowing river, with the sound of the gushing waters, lulling us to sleep. We will be accompanied by our well-equipped team comprising spotters, guides, cooks and helpers carrying essentials and luxuries.

Join us as we retrace the footsteps of the Pandavas, in typical TRLT luxury & style.
